hey everyone, i’m new here but i’ve been a mom to my tarantula, morticia, for almost 2 years. she has molted once before which went GREAT, but she didn’t show typical signs of premolt prior to that (not eating, shiny abdomen, making a molt mat, etc). i recently moved and she got extremely stressed when being moved into the new home—she’s only ever been on my bedside table and rarely gets handled, so any movement is startling to her. i’m worried that she might’ve kicked too many hairs, but i’m also thinking she may be in premolt because she has refused to eat for almost 2 weeks now and mainly stays in her burrow. any advice is greatly appreciated, i just want her to be comfortable and be able to thrive.
