HELP

My baby Brazilian red and white is lost.

Idk what to do she's my first T I've looked everywhere. She shed for the first time with me today and I'm so I tried that she may be hungry? My free roam bunny is in my room where Voodoo escaped from and I'm worried that she maybe hurt ? I've looked everywhere, in curtains, behind radiators, I'm even looking in my other reptile enclosures. Please help

First sling advice

I’m getting tarantulas for the first time, both slings, and would like some help with the enclosures please.

First enclosure (deli cup): Tliltocatl albopilosus (Curly Hair) Sling - 2cm

Second enclosure (tube): Caribena versicolor (Antilles Pinktoe) Sling - 1-2cm

I am using spider substrate and sphagnum moss purchased from a reptile shop for both enclosures.

Pink toed tarantula gender question

Our pink toed tarantula, Nyx, has the shorter and seemingly rounder front legs, which implies that he is a male… however we just wanted a second, more professional/experienced opinion since we aren’t completely sure on age/he wasn’t taken care of well and are currently rehabilitating him. His neglect and unknown birthday means we can’t tell if he’s small from young age or being malnourished. If anyone has more experience with pink toes and has any input, I’d love to hear!

Need some help for a friend

Okay, so. My friend has a tarantula. said tarantula was eating for awhile and hasn’t for almost a month now. while i’ve read this is normal, i also read that the abdomen should be same or bigger sized than the head. Could anyone help me out why she may not be eating if she obviously looks hungry? Her brother caught her out in southern california so we believe an arizona blonde? she has her in a good sized ventilated tub she keeps moist, lots of substrate but the spider doesn’t burrow. Super chill though !

Hello considering tarantulas as a pet

Hello I have recently found out people keep bugs/inverts and they have become a new obsession I’m looking into tarantulas (of course doing proper research) but am kinda scared of the time commitment I know most types live 15+ years I’m scared I won’t still like having a spider so many years down the line any recommendations for species that live less then 10 years I know males don’t live to long but I don’t know any places to get specificity males

Is this normal?

Am I feeding too much? I feed my juvenile 1× per week. I use mealworms and they are large. He seems to eat by or in his/her water dish and then chills there after like he's stuffed. Thanks! ❤️ 🕷
