Molting taking a little longer than usual
Hey guys!
So yesterday morning one of my T. Seladonia slings (she's about an inch leg widespan, so she's more of a juvenile) got on her back with her legs nicely "opened up" and had a piece of tree moss over her. It's very light stuff so I didn't worry, especially since T. Seladonia's usually do this under their flap I imagine. It didn't touch her enclosure or nothing and left her alone. But this morning she's starting to have her legs come closer, like it's looking midway in between being on her back for moulting and a death curl. My other juvenile molted the day before. Turned over in the sometime in the evening and when I woke up in the morning, it was done. She's the same age as this one. They're still young and usually manage in a few hours. So I'm getting a little worried as it's been a little over 24h now. And like I said, my main worry is her legs coming closer to her body, starting to look like a death curl. I'm thinking : should I remove that piece of tree mold over her? So far they've always molted with nothing on their body and none of my bigger juvenile's have made trapdoors so they just always molt in the open. And as i've said, it's pretty light stuff but it is covering most of her body. I'm especially worried because I have to leave today for the weekend so I won't be able to monitor her progress. Any suggestions?
