Hey all!

We are an MSP and getting more and more request to host custom applications on either cloud servers or on-premises servers. These apps are so obviously built by someone using AI and even have some customers seemingly ditching their entire software stack to go custom AI built.

Who maintains and tests this stuff?!

We are trying to push away as hard as we can but getting bosses involved which is making it difficult, we are trying to implement IP restriction for cloud apps and the likes to lock it down as much as possible but seems like a ticking time bomb.

Seen a lot of posts about the new XPS and thought I’d share my experience, ordered mine a while ago and finally got it in the post, will post specs below. Finally received it and unboxed and cracked on. About an hour in I noticed there was a tiny nick in the case on the bottom left hand side, I mean something 99% of people wouldn’t complain about and tbh something I wasn’t going to but not what you’d expect.

Next thing get it all setup and updated and then my dock doesn’t work with it, assumed it was some updates however nothing worked, assumed my dock was out of date but sure enough was compatible on the chart. Went to pro
Support.

They then said that they wanted to replace the motherboard which was extreme but thought okay, next day as im typing I notice that white powder which must be from the keys are all over my fingers, message Dell again and they decide to replace the full unit.

After another couple of days of persuading them to let me keep the current one until the new one arrives currently over a month in and still waiting for a new one.

I must admit aside from the issues above, beautiful laptop and really enjoying it so far but disappointing for the money paid
