I used to be on Mounjaro when it first came out in 2024 and lost nearly 4 stone. I gained that 1 stone back last year after coming off due to the affordability. I had tried wegovy and mounjaro ond and off since and wasnt successful 2nd/3rd time around. Its now been 8 months since taking my last dose. I hope this works. Any advice, side effects and importantly, does it work? Thank you!!
Long story short, two years ago I started Mounjaro (when it was cheap) and they came off it mid-summer last year. Lost a total of four stone and after that I came off it (due to the price.) against the stone and a few pounds which has been stuck on me until now. I tried restarting Mounjaro in January and yes, I paid the price because I was desperate it did not work the second time around.. and it was because my body was used to 15 mg, which is something I could not afford.. so on 10 mg for months and I did not have the same effect. I did the first time I tried it. So I decided to just completely stop it. I’m trying to do a natural way and save money. As someone who has a binge disorder, this is the worst thing I could’ve done. Now that I’ve left it about five months jab free. I was hoping my body was rid of the dose. So I ordered Wegovy as it’s cheaper and took it yesterday and I can already feel it’s working. I’m having the same nausea as I did on the other one and it made me not want to eat. This might sound insane for other people, but I’m actually happy having nausea because then I know it’s working. nausea is the only thing that stops me from eating. I’ve had 600 cal today and I’m done for the day. I’m also on metformin and Myo-insitol so the combination is good. I just need to change my life and my bad habits and not let my disorder take over my body. For the first time in my life, I am walking every day, I am hiking, I’m doing homework exercise and I’m calorie counting. This is something I did not do the first time I was jabbing myself. Because it was so easy and now I’ve had to work for it and it’s working. I did a lot of research on social media of before and after with Wegovy I’m glad that I ordered it. So this is my first proper day on it and I’m starting to feel everything that I’m supposed to feel and I’m so happy about it. The nausea is good.
