How are non-US/EU sellers actually managing Shopify payments?

Hey guys,

Setting up a Shopify store targeting US and EU buyers, fulfilling directly through a 3PL in China.

Since I’m based in India, I’m running into a wall trying to figure out the payment setup.

-Stripe / Shopify Payments isn't directly available locally for this setup.
- PayPal has the 21-day hold, and the forced auto-conversion is eating like 8-10% of my margin.
- Domestic gateways (Razorpay, etc.) require domestic export shipping bills, which doesn't work for direct-to-customer dropshipping.

How are other international sellers handling this?

Did you just bite the bullet and set up a US LLC / UK LTD / foreign partner to get Stripe, or did you bootstrap through PayPal first despite the cash flow delay? Any advice or setups that actually work would be awesome.

Looking for advice on opening authorized B2B wholesale accounts for premium diecast (Mini GT, AUTOart, Kyosho, Almost Real, Inno64)

Hey everyone,

I am in the process of setting up a dedicated online hobby store focusing strictly on authentic, premium-tier diecast models (specifically 1:64 and 1:18 scales like Mini GT, AUTOart, Kyosho, Almost Real, and Inno64).

Because we strictly want to avoid gray-market liquidators and third-party markup, our goal is to establish direct accounts with official master distributors (like CLDC / Gateway Global networks) to handle quarterly pre-orders and master carton allocations.

For anyone here who runs a hobby shop or manages an e-commerce store in this space:

  1. How was your experience opening your first B2B wholesale accounts with these regional distributors?
  2. Do master distributors usually require established storefront history, or are they open to new businesses if you meet their master carton MOQs upfront?
  3. Are there specific regional trade channels or distributor reps for China/HK you would recommend reaching out to first?

Any insight, advice on navigating early allocation sheets, or tips from experienced retailers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Looking for reliable dropshipping suppliers for scale model (diecast) cars

Hey everyone,

I recently started posting videos of scale model cars on Instagram, and they’ve been getting a lot of attention. People are constantly asking where they can buy them!

I’ve bought a domain and want to set up a dropshipping store. Does anyone know of any reliable dropshipping suppliers or wholesalers for diecast/scale model cars? The audience are mostly from North and South America and Europe.

I'm looking for decent shipping times and a good variety of models. Any advice for someone just starting in this specific niche would be greatly appreciated!
