Signed guyot received in junk removal job

I work in junk removal in SoCal and this was heading to the dump so I decided to save it. It was hanging on the wall in a couples house that seemed to have visited France multiple times based on the other stuff we found there. The house was sold as is with everything in it and the buyer did not want anything in it.

I’ve done some research and it looks like it’s by Jacques Guyot, I see a very similar painting on eBay currently at 1400 from what seems like a reliable source of vintage art. Mine has small differences in the way it was painted, such as a sail extending closer to the signature in mine and some of the little light dots on the smaller boats are different.

Confused on if it’s original or what it is really, the picture of the back open shows the canvas and paint on the side of the canvas.

Found in a junk removal job with a lot of other really old stuff

Found in a junk removal job where everything was free to take home or to the dump. Been doing a lot of research on these and can’t seem to make out the artist signature.

My best guess is they’re mid century french high end decorative sets that were sold to tourists but really not sure.

If anyone can help identify the artist or anything else about them it would be very appreciated

It was in a house in San Marcos CA but the house was full of vintage stuff from all over. Including what looks like an original by Jacques Guyot

Btw there isn’t anything on the backs except a stamp from the company that framed them
