Hi everyone,

I'm an international student who started the BE(Hons) First Year at UC in July 2026.

I recently found out that Second Year only has a February intake, so I'm a bit confused about how the July-entry pathway works.

For anyone who started Engineering in July:

• What did you do between completing First Professional Year and starting Second Year?
• Did you take additional papers, complete internships/work experience, or something else?
• How did this affect your study timeline and visa status?
