Money saving tips for Canadians💰🇨🇦

Looking to save more money on my pen because I am going up a dose. I am currently in Canada and my insurance won't cover the cost.

Right now, I do click counting on a 15mg pen, the golden dose, I pickup at Costco for the lowest price and use the savings card. Any other tips to save money that I'm missing? TIA 😊

Costco?

So I'm learning that if I get my pen at Costco, I would save an extra $30. I have avoided Costco before because they lost my prescription and it's super busy but I may want to try again. I live in Vancouver so Costco is super busy and chaotic but my solution might be getting it delivered from Costco and getting it ordered online.

Has anyone gotten their medication delivered by Costco? What's the experience you have had?

Just a tip

I will start by saying I'm not a medical professional, just a tip.

I have been hearing that when you rotate the injection spots, you might have less food noise. I have experienced this and noticed that if I rotate my injection spot then the food noise is less. I know some people have said the medication isn't working for them but it might be because of your injection location and how you are rotating it. Hope this helps someone as I know the feeling of when it feels impossible/hopeless to lose weight.

Fully paid off my consumer proposal, but the college is still withholding my transcripts. Is this legal?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice from anyone who has navigated life after a consumer proposal with BC colleges.
I had an old financial hold at the College due to unpaid institutional fees. It went to collections. I included this debt in a consumer proposal, which I have now fully paid off and completed.

I have my official Certificate of Full Performance from my Licensed Insolvency Trustee.
Despite the debt being legally discharged under the *Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act*, the student portal is still showing a financial hold and won't let me order my official transcripts.

Is it legal for them to continue withholding my academic records for a debt that no longer legally exists?
I assume their automated system just doesn't update on its own. I have contacted them but they said to just pay the full balance. Anyone dealt with this? What can I do?

It feels weird to not have food as an outlet

Been on 10mg for the last few months and I have lost 30 pounds. I am so happy with my results and this miracle medication. It's just weird to not have food as an outlet. I don't know how to deal with my emotions and how do I regulate my myself without food. I have tried walking, taking baths etc but nothing feels as good as food (pre medication). Anyone feel this way?
