Advice over build/spec
Hi All
Looking for some advice/help. My wife currently uses a mac for mainly business work, and wants to move back to a PC, as she hates the UI and interface on the mac (as well as the clumsiness of the shortcuts).
We bought a mac as someone told us it was the best for office work, and it looks nice (Mrs requirement :D)
What we are after is a PC, perhaps an all in one? That wouldnt monopolise her desk etc. I suppose worst case a mini PC or slimline one would suffice, but she would ideally like the aesthetics of a mac in a PC.
She uses the system mainly for emails, word, adobe pdf, excel and web content using canva and short social media video creation.
Any advice on the specs youd recommend for the above, would be greatfully received? Sadly if left to me she would be getting a RTX5090 with Ryzen 7 9800 X3D, 64gb of ram and a couple of M.2 drives :D I suspect that would be overkill though and doesnt meet the "unobtrusive" requirement!
My other thought was to find a way to mimic windows OS on the Mac? but i dont think thats possible anymore from what i tried? (yes i know, if it was me i would be linux, but she is familiar with windows and knows how to use that OS).
