Ik this sub is called r/dubstep but like I want to know what is your favourite bass sub genre? Something that hits the right spot in your brain. Also some suggestions in the category. (Mine is the trap and dubstep crossover artists like papers skies nitepunk and viperactive are doing)

I feel like my main drop basses are some what decent, but everytime i try a fill the sample or sound i use dosent sound good or fit right with the main bass. fills are kinda important as they add the required variation to not make it sound super repetitive. how do i learn how to make good fills and variations?
