Character Claims!
Hello, friends! It's me, your favorite Land Shark Mom Mod! That's too long- Anywhos, As discussed among the mods, there will be a new claims post every month so as to keep the claims post fresh and not outdated by people not deleting their comments. I *should* have started it last month (or the month before?) but I procrastinated until I decided to start it at the start of the month.
Remember, comment your character claims below this post! You may have up to three, unless the mod team gives permission for more (wherein you may have to five).
**Do not claim snipe.** People are busy sometimes. Claim holders may have a week after the post is made to re-add their claim to keep it and both the current claim post and the last one will be monitored closely to make sure this does not happen.
Now, this is not part of my official assignment but I will also put a few requested characters in the post text body each month. DM me for any characters you'd like to see on the request list next month.
As there is no requests yet for the first post of this system, I will simply say the ones I remember off the top of my head of people wanting

Personal Announcement
I will be dropping Mysterio III, the character used on the account u/ILOVECHICKEN3000 (who some of you have interacted with in his various disguises), due to a loss of excitement for his intended plots. I may pick him back up in the future if I regain that excitement, as I am still proud of the creativity I had in using his powers for the sake of illusion.
The current arc I was doing with Hotoru on u/WEAREVENOMMMMM involving the symbiote Mister E will be dropped and retconned, as it is the opinion of most of the mod team that he is a seperate enough character to exceed my current claims. Though I do have a potential new plot with the Blade roleplayer so that might be a good replacement.
I will be dropping The Maker on u/AFantasticTomorrow soon, but rather than retconning his existence, he is merely leaving the universe. The things he is doing right now are in preparation for that.
I will not be dropping Gwenpool but I will allow people to claim the other Gwenpools of the Gwen-Hive if they want, I've decided. There are canonically 5 instances of her in the Gwen-Hive in Marvel Canon (there were 6 but Hulk Smashed), so there may be up to 4 other roleplayers of her I think. My Gwen is the "main" and most modern one and the others were pulled from her past appearances and thus don't have powers beyond her knowledge of comic tropes and the knowledge she's in a comic, except for West Coast Avengers Gwen. None of the others have the X-Gene at all though, as it only retconned to do that at the end of Gwenpool Strikes Back #5.
After all this, my character claims will be just Gwen, Joseph, and Hotoru for now. I intend to be Rahne but it will be a while of reading before that can happen.
