Wool glad to be back at the mansion did anyone miss me? I sure hope so.

After a night of driving...Colin, Annie, Grey and Aizaru had all finally made it home...to Xavier's. Colin stopped his vehicle just a few feet away from the school, the army of vehicles with the other now released inmates behind them. Colin stepped out, the scarf Sai had given him blowing in the wind as he walked towards the school...Annie, Grey and Aizaru following behind.

And as they walked...the inmates joined them, following behind Colin's lead as he walked up to the front door of Xavier's, breathing in and out, and nervously opened it...stepping inside and seeing everything, the dorms, the classrooms, the kitchen...he finally made it...he was home...

It hurts me truly to write this message but I think this is the end of my time here at Xavier’s mansion. Most people have lost their will to keep going and the sub is just dead. I too have just lost my passion to keep writing my crazy little alien diva.

When I joined this sub 8 months ago I was trapped in my house during one of the worst blizzards my state had ever seen and I needed an escape. I happened to stumble upon this sub and little did I know about the community and the friends I’d make along the way here. There’s too many people to list individually but everyone here has brightened my day and I hope I’ve done the same for you.

Gosamyr in particular was always my weird little autistic gay fascination. I read her story when I was a teenager and I loved how different she was, she got to be a magical alien, she got to be the agitator on the team as a woman, she had a completely bonkers power set, she dropped so many weird little bits of lore on herself, and just as she was getting her foothold editorial wiped her out of existence. My time on this sub has been a love letter to this obscure character that I always felt deserved more and could have had a bigger role in the ongoing narrative.

It honestly means so much to me that this community has been so receptive and interested in her and all the additional narrative I put on her. Thank you all so much for your support and time here. Wade stands at the foot of a hand-dug grave. Princess nuzzles against him as he stares into the dirt. His eyes are hot, wet, and his vision is blurry to the point of blindness.

He kneels, staring even harder at the pile of dirt before him. He screams in pain. Not like when he’s stabbed, or shot, or set ablaze. Now he’s beyond injury.

Once he’s finished sobbing, nearly falling to the ground, he speaks.

Ellie. My beautiful baby girl.. I love you so much. I’m so sorry I failed you like this. You deserved so much better. You deserved to grow up raised by your mother, never knowing my face or name. You deserved to have a healthy life and family…

But you… you got this.. And, I… Oh god, I’m so sorry, Ellie… I can’t bare your absence. You were all I had. I was all you had. Maybe I deserved this, but… But you didn’t. You are the kindest, s-sw- -, Oh god, you… the sweetest girl I’ve ever seen. The most beautiful…-..

Somberly, Wade reaches into his pocket. He pulls out a bouquet of eleanors, and knife, and a Spider-Man doll. He sets the knife and bouquet by the headstone, kisses the forehead of the doll, and slowly lays it too by the grave.

Eleanor Camacho… You are the greatest love I’ve ever known. I’m so… so… Eugghhahhhhh!!!

He broke at down at the site of the grave, Princess howling beside him. At last, he stopped trying to be brave. Stopped trying to stay strong for a girl who wasn’t there.

Jubilee arrives at the Xavier Institute and steps through the front door, before immediately heading into her messy room and dropping her heavy suitcases onto the floor.

She's been staying at her Aunt Hope's for the last two weeks, but now she's finally home. She enjoyed her stay, but she'd be lying if she said she didn't miss the wonderful chaos of the mansion.

She decides to leave her room without even unpacking and starts roaming around the halls, looking for someone to bother because she's already bored.

"Yo! Anyone home? I'm back!"
