An In-Prison Assassination. Haven’t done one ‘a these in a while..

Eyes on the prize, Wade…

He tampers with belt for a bit, before disappearing in a crackling discharge, reforming within the halls of the building.

..Time to make some **@$&#**ers bleed… Haha!

He hesitates for just a moment, before running further into the institute.

Wade stands at the foot of a hand-dug grave. Princess nuzzles against him as he stares into the dirt. His eyes are hot, wet, and his vision is blurry to the point of blindness.

He kneels, staring even harder at the pile of dirt before him. He screams in pain. Not like when he’s stabbed, or shot, or set ablaze. Now he’s beyond injury.

Once he’s finished sobbing, nearly falling to the ground, he speaks.

Ellie. My beautiful baby girl.. I love you so much. I’m so sorry I failed you like this. You deserved so much better. You deserved to grow up raised by your mother, never knowing my face or name. You deserved to have a healthy life and family…

But you… you got this.. And, I… Oh god, I’m so sorry, Ellie… I can’t bare your absence. You were all I had. I was all you had. Maybe I deserved this, but… But you didn’t. You are the kindest, s-sw- -, Oh god, you… the sweetest girl I’ve ever seen. The most beautiful…-..

Somberly, Wade reaches into his pocket. He pulls out a bouquet of eleanors, and knife, and a Spider-Man doll. He sets the knife and bouquet by the headstone, kisses the forehead of the doll, and slowly lays it too by the grave.

Eleanor Camacho… You are the greatest love I’ve ever known. I’m so… so… Eugghhahhhhh!!!

He broke at down at the site of the grave, Princess howling beside him. At last, he stopped trying to be brave. Stopped trying to stay strong for a girl who wasn’t there.

Specifically for his hero form

I, for one, love him. I know he doesn’t fit the tone of some of his stories, but he’s J’onn’s best friend!

He’s not just his Krypto, but his Robin.

If Clark can have Krypto, and Bruce can have Ace and Batcow, J’onn deserves to have his closest confidant.

He’s the embodiment of the early camp that many MM stories have tried far too hard too ignore. And even if you want to go more serious, at his core, Zook is a confused and scared alien creature seeking refuge. J’onn takes him under his wing, gives him a home, and forms an unbreakable bond with him.

I genuinely believe that Zook has the potential for truly moving writing. But I wanna know what you all think

First, let’s talk personality. In the comics, Venom, or rather Eddie because that is actually who’s talking, is a violent yet good-hearted vigilante who is a devout Catholic. He’s quippy, self-righteous, stubborn, aggressive, and did I mention quippy?

He doesn’t eat brains, outside of moments like in Venom; The Madness, and he is the Lethal Protector of San Francisco, sworn to protect the innocent.

Rivals Venom on the other hand is a generic alien monster who constantly talks about eating brains, makes random threats, and only ever makes the occasional humorous remark. He’s nothing like his inspiration.

In terms of movesets, Rivals Venom is essentially just a giant goop monster with spider-like elements.

Comic Venom, however, has countless unique abilities such as invisibility, ESP, venomous fangs, flight, etc.

He isn’t even that goopy. The symbiote is similar in texture, appearance, and overall makeup to an actual suit, hence why they can be confused for one another.

Finally, the interactions. Rivals Venom is treated like a simple slime monster by almost everyone, when he has a lot of history with most of them.

They either bring up Knull or just seem to know nothing about them.

Tony asks what his suit is made of in a friendly manner, when they have a history of conflict.

Hulk and Venom have a similar history, yet they act like strangers.

As for characters like Moon Knight, and especially Spider-Man, they act like he‘s still a villain, despite even the game itself acknowledging he’s already in at least the King In Black era.

Similar flanderization has happened with characters like Deadpool, Moon Knight, and Iron Man, and I really hope the devs get their act together.

Wade was on a mission from Tolliver. He was to take out a couple of grimey socialites by the name of Tom and Margaret Mueller.

( Time to take out the trash. PERMENANTLY! )

He leaped from the rooftops like a crimson vulture, eyes locked onto his prey. He landed before them, and with two swift gunshots, they went down.

( Adamantium always finishes the job... )

Wade looked down, and became horrified by what he saw. There was a child with them, staring in terror at the bodies of his parents.

< Wait… no.. no, no… >

The boy looked up at Wade, bearing a familiar face.

…Evan?… Oh god…

Evan‘s face twisted and distorted, his eyes and mouth black voids

Oh dear god, no… please… don’t…

WHY?! WHY??!! he screamed

Wade found himself wearing his X-Force suit. Suddenly, Evan because to transform once more. He grew to a mighty stature, his eyes blood red. Apocalypse.

Wade gripped his katana firmly. Apocalypse raised his palm to the sky, charging a mighty blast of energy. With no other choice, Wade released one final slash, beheading the blue titan.

GNAAAAAaahhhahaahhhhhhh!!…. Evan, oh gaw-hod…! I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!..

As the smoke cleared, and all had quieted down, the guilt-ridden mercenary felt a gentle, clawed hand against his shoulder.

”Don’t worry, baby… It’s all okay…”

…T-typhoid?… No, no, no, not now!… Please, i I-I forgave you!…

“Oh, but I’m not done yet…”

No, you are! You have to be! No!!..

Wade’s tormentor reached for his suit zipper. He screamed in agony and trauma. Suddenly, it was all over. Wade jolted awake, shell-shocked.

..Just a dream… It was just a dream, thank god…

But.. It was all still... real..

I’m kind of short-sighted, likely due to ADHD, so sometimes I don’t think ahead.

This is one of those times.

I don’t wanna be Zenpool forever (even though I love that arc), but I don’t know how to move on

The issue is, Zenpool was part of the AXIS event in the comics. The Zenpool plot was resolved BECAUSE of the AXIS event.

So I can’t just follow the comics, as that would require a wider AXIS event on the sub, which is outlandishly unreasonable and would undoubtedly ruin everyone’s RP. (Also AXIS wasn’t even that good honestly.)

And because of all this, my bumass is asking you, my compatriots, for help, hence the image.

How can a man change so suddenly? So effortlessly?

Many have asked me such things.

But the answer is not what they often think.

Its not mind control, or brain-scrambling, or anything of the sort.

Rather, the answer is a simple one; Guilt.

The kind of crushing guilt that is harbored over decades within a broken man.

I feel like his 8th might be Vengeance, and his 6th looks kinda like Phantasma. But other than that, I’m lost

I don’t read a lot of Punisher, or Ghost Rider for that matter, so I may be missing a lot.

There’s literally nothing sexual about it, yet Ive seen people say Venom is being gross and sexual.

It makes no sense. Venom literally just beat her up and bullied her. Her clothes are ripped because she got thrashed, not because he was undressing her or some shit.

I just take it as people trying to force further meaning onto an already established moment.

This game is absolutely fantastic. As a huge fan of Spider-Man, Lego games, and the Ravencroft games, this was by far the greatest love letter to fans of all 3 of those things and everything in between.

The story is such a beautiful journey through Spider-Man’s legacy, told through the collaboration of every live action movie.

Each chapter feels so distinct in the movie it’s following, the exceptions being the chapter that’s (as far as my knowledge of it goes) more about the animated series, and the final mission starting you off playing the intro to Ravencroft which leads into the Wallcrawler movies.

What I really loved was how they did the tutorial. Having it be his introduction to showbiz, with Max Shiffman and MJ. Having him teach you to fight in the form of dancing, sneak and surprise attack to ‘’make an entrance”, and use the webshooters was genius.

But after becoming a vigilante, once you start working with Captain Stacy to capture Kingpin, that’s when the gameplay really picks up.

I thought that each time they were introducing a new member of The Spider Family, was really well done. I like that for the first few chapters it’s one new character per chapter, and then by chapter 4 you get Scarlet Spider by the end, and MJ right at the start of 5.

My one issue with the character unlocking, is with Scarlet Spider specifically we got like no time with him until MJ was introduced, we got 2 half missions with him and then the final mission he was at least one of the focuses.

I absolutely love the way we transition between chapters, seeing glimpses of Spider-Man through his time as the webhead, not only honing his skills but seeing more members of his rogues gallery.

The gameplay is fantastic, the open world is probably one of the best LEGO open worlds we’ve gotten, and it’s certainly a great New York. I think the base is so much fun to explore and customize, and seeing how much it evolves with each chapter was great, and especially the display for the vehicles.

I think that the red bricks being reduced to reskins is kinda lame, especially since for me personally there’s only like 2 good reskins and it depends on which suit you’re using it on. I think it would be cool if we got to fully customize the colors of the suits and make them more our own, but that’s a very minor issue since the suits on their own are great.

There’s just so much love and detail put into the game, T.T games really went hard on this one and pretty much fixed everything that I found The Spock Saga did in a way that left a lot to be desired. This was clearly made by people who love Spidey, and understand how much many others love the character and all his media too, just a true celebration of the character and I for one, already am excited to replay the story.

Edit: I also love how showed Carnage develops alongside Pete. He had such an intimidating presence

I’ve been so tired lately. So caught up in my own anger. I always have been, truthfully.

I wondered why I couldn’t be happy. Why Wade Wilson couldn’t be.

But he could. All along, but he held himself back. He took fate by the horns, but never steered it.

Until now. Because now, he chooses not to fight, but to forgive. To release what was been bottled up inside, not in some theatric explosion, but calmly, and quietly. I choose.

Deadpool is no more. There is simply no need for him. He was everything I didn’t want to be. Everything I hated about myself. No longer…

Now, I forgive.

Killbrew, I forgive you. Tolliver, Francis, Weasel, Mystique, Typhoid Mary, Taskmaster, Bullseye, Itsy Bitsy, Sluggo, Sabertooth…

I forgive all of you, and everyone else who has wronged me.

And to all of those *I* have wronged,.. I truly, sincerely apologize. I cannot express how deeply I regret my wrongdoings…

But now is not the time for regret.
