Sooo many details!! So much more time to paint compared to Dragon princes. And I still have 5 more to go

I know he's not the Phoenix king in this setting yet but I love the model. Had to trim the base and remove the dead dark elf to make it fit a normal cavalry base

Forgot to take more pictures because we were too focused on the game.

Had to put a spear tip on the staff because it's bought second hand and the staff head was missing.

Love this sculpt way more than the 8th Ed and current

Got to put my Dragon princes into actions today!

1500 pts (Square based comp adjusted) High elves vs the first game of the Skaven army. (Hence why the skavens was largely unpainted).

Didn't take enough pictures to make a battle report, but can share the best moment!
A Skaven ratlingunner, standing in between and an engineer and a High elves mage misfires, explodes, kills himself along both the casters.

Just in time for my game tomorrow! Will inform you if the rats died or not

High elves lost the game due to a single bad charge and combat by the swordmasters

I almost felt bad breaking the wrapper

Played 2k, but with the squarebase comp rules so in reality 2.2 k chaos versus 2.4k high elves. Chaos victory, but the game was fun to the last dice roll.

Made from an archer with some parts from the spearmen. G
