Can anybody tell me why it is such a hassle to login to SSA?

I use IDme (fingerprint enabled) for the VA app and for the SSA app. For the VA app, I just scan my print and I'm logged in instantly.

For the SSA app, it takes 9 clicks to log in and half the time, I get the browser not supported error and have to start over.

Is anybody here familiar with Dr. Van Ness at the Mercy clinic in Springfield?
