hi everyone! i’m a 20 year old woman that was recently hospitalized for afib and referred to a cardiologist, who’s just found that i have WPW on the left side of my heart. he’s scheduled me to have an ablation completed, and naturally, i’m in shock that it’s taken this many ECGS and doctor visits to discover this extra pathway.

more than anything, i’m shocked that it’s taken this long to discover the extra pathway. should i get a second opinion? does anybody know why exactly it’s taken this long to discover that i have WPW? and furthermore, what can i expect from an ablation? he expects that the afib will disappear once the extra pathway is shut down (until i’m later in life, at least), and though the procedure is minimally invasive, i still can’t help but to feel really nervous about everything.

hi everyone! i just started working at garage in late august, and i’ve kept a perfectly clean attendance record thus far. unfortunately, i was admitted to the hospital last night and i expect to be here for at least the remainder of today. i did try and find coverage for my shift today, but of course, to no avail. my question— will calling out be an issue, even despite my clean record thus far? i intend on bringing a doctor’s note to them just in case, but i’ve previously worked for companies that counted an absence as unexcused regardless of situation. thanks!

hi everyone! i applied to garage 2-3 weeks ago. i called this past thursday to follow up on my application, and she wrote my full name down, as well as said she'd send out the assessment. fast forward, it is now monday, and i received the assessment via email.

now that i have completed it, my question is-- how long should i expect to wait for an interview? how guaranteed am i to secure a job at this point? she did mention that she is mass hiring due to many girls going off for college, so that's worth considering. i love garage, so i'm really looking forward to proceeding with them :)

also-- the assessment only consisted of a behavior test. i saw that other people here needed to take two other tests, but i only needed to do that.
