Jumbuck cast iron 12inch skillet & 3.5L dutch oven
Hello all,
Been a lurker on the r/cast-iron community then come here... Previously I made a post about trilonium cast iron 32cm dutch oven but eventually settled with the jumbuck brand.
You might be wondering why I didn't get the conventional brands like Staub, smithy, le cruset, and lodge. Well, i am from a developing country (a third world country) and we do not have access to these well known brands in the states. What we do have access to is these ones i have stated in the above but in small quantities. These are the factors that influenced my decisions to purchase the jumbuck 12inch cast iron skillet and the 3.5L dutch oven.
My questions to those who have bought the jumbuck brand:
1. What is your experience with the either the skillet or the dutch oven? Do you recommend it? Why?
2. Is it of good quality?
3. Do you think its a good purchase??
4. Is it comparable to the conventional brands like smithy or lodge?
5. Any recommendations to a first time owner of a jumbuck cast iron?
Any contribution is appreciated 👏.
Thank you.
