I'm asking about the REPEL quest, not the slay quest.
So I'm playing Tri right now. I've failed the quest multiple times now because he keeps going the wrong way instead of swimming into Area 3 I know now that that's because I don't deal enough damage to him/break his beard before area 3. But I'd really rather not grind any more and just get this game over with already so here's my question:
If I failed the quest before reaching area 3, does he keep the damage I've dealt to him already?
The guild sweetheart says he keeps the damage youve inflicted on him until you beat him, but does that apply to the WHOLE fight or just the part where he's in area 3?
