November in PR, anniversary vacation

Hi everyone! Our anniversary is in the second week of November and we’re planning a trip to Puerto Rico. However many websites warn of hurricane season and advise against travelling then. Do you have any recommendations?
Should we stick to the 2nd week of November or consider a different destination? Thanks in advance!

CPT to OPT Transition question

I am currently working full time with my employer on CPT, my CPT authorization ends on August 1st and I requested OPT start date on August 2. However due to delay in my biometrics I don’t think I would get my EAD before August 2.
So until I get my EAD can I go on just unpaid leave with my employer or should I ask them to remove me from system?
If anyone had similar experience please advise !

2 weeks and no update Biometrics

I applied for Initial OPT Premium processing on 7th May about two weeks ago. I haven’t received a letter for my biometric appointment and nothing in the portal either. I’m panicking because my start date is approaching. It also seems like many people received their biometric letter within ten days! Has anyone else experienced delays with their biometric appointments?

New to the USA with PCOS & weight gain ..how do I start the process for getting Wegovy?

I recently moved to the USA and have gained 25+ lbs over the past couple of years (currently 207 lbs). The weight gain has really affected my confidence and mental health, and I also have PCOS. I’m planning to start strength training and lifestyle changes, and I’m looking into Wegovy/GLP-1 medications to support my weight loss journey.
I’m new to the US healthcare system and have my first primary care appointment next month.
Should I bring up Wegovy directly with my PCP?
Can PCPs prescribe it or do they usually refer you to a specialist?
Should I check insurance coverage before or after getting a prescription?

Would appreciate any advice from others who’ve gone through this process. Thank you!

Has anyone recently completed the i-765 form for initial OPT. What are the photo requirements needed? I read there is biometrics requirement for pictures so are they asking for photos at all anymore. Can someone clarify please.
