Hello I started my business this season and am doing very well. I'm located in the dfw Texas area and was wanting to know when everyone else usually what month y'all get slower or close to no work vs what months you can expect the season to start picking up? Anyone else a solo tech in DFW area? If so how much are yall getting a day offering winterization? I’m trying to offer them now so I have work in winter. Maybe 200$ for winterization and a visit to pressurize in spring seems fair?
I have had multiple customers where I’ve scheduled over $1500 worth of work back out on the appointment later on. Do y’all charge a percentage deposit to hold that appointment nonrefundable. Because when they cancel, I’m also spending money on their materials as well as me scheduling them for a certain amount of time they could have gone to another customer.
I need specifically this valves diagram but can’t seem to find the name on the valve or what it is. I was thinking maybe the Hydro-Rain HRV Series but this valve is gray?
does anyone have any recommendations for insurance I am located in DFW area in Texas and recently started my irrigation business. I wanna make sure that I’m covered if I hit a fiber line underground or any electrical lines when doing work that’s the main thing that I want covered in my insurance policy. I was checking to see if y’all know any companies that aren’t charging a lot. I got a quote through biBerk, but when I asked to see if they covered damages for underground electrical utilities, they told me they weren’t able to answer hypothetical questions which I thought was strange so if y’all know any insurance policies, they don’t charge outrageous I would like to check them out thank y’all so much!
