I asked last week for recommendations for exhaust system set ups for the e38. I want to do a full exhaust system eventually but this was just something I could do for now for better sound. u/cogblocker recommended dynomax race bullet mufflers. Which I did, only thing I changed from his set up is that I didn’t do exhaust tips, since I love the hidden exhaust the e38 comes with, so I kept mines angled down. This is a sort of cold start, car had been sitting for about 3 or 4 hours. Also posting this because
u/KingOfConsciousness wanted to hear it.

Hey guys so I bought an 01 740 iL about 3 months ago, it’s currently sitting on BC coil overs and CCW lm5 wheels, I’m planning on redoing the cooling system and timing chains soon. I’m looking at exhaust system options rn, but everything I see online for e38 is 2.5k or more. Does anyone have any custom exhaust system ideas or anything they could suggest to me. It’s on the stock exhaust rn and it’s just a bit too quiet for my liking. I also don’t want something that’s gonna wake up the hole block
