Insurance claim advice

I have a cracked front bumper and a cracked front windshield. They both occurred on 2 separate instances/incidents. What are the chances of me getting State Farm to believe it happened all in one incident? No the crack can’t be filled or repaired the window needs to be replaced. So can I do this all in one claim and what will I have to say happened??? Also what will happen if they come to the conclusion both did not happen in the same incident…then what? I get dropped? Or they just tell me to do it over but separate?

I don’t feel like this is scamming although I know some will see it as such. Never wrecked a vehicle in my life and this is only my 2nd claim I’ve ever had to make in my driving career ( 12+ years)

If you must know the reality is the bumper got cracked from random debris sitting in the road and the window was the case of an unfortunate rock chip that spread.

Do you guys pre buy tools or buy tools as you go/need them?

Kind of a stupid question as I know there are people out there with 10k tool sets that run into certain jobs and still need new tools but I’m becoming an at home mechanic and so far I’ve been buying tools as I need them for certain jobs. This makes these jobs take waaaay longer than it should. It also inevitably brings the cost up to what I’d be paying if I took it to a shop. Obviously you save money in the long run but when buying tools as needed you often times don’t save money initially and take way more time. So I guess the question is should I just stop working on my car all together and just periodically build up my tool kit and THEN get back at it or just keep tackling stuff one at a time and build the tool set that way? I mean make list for things I need before hand (Some YT videos tell you what you’ll need but most don’t) but even with a list you run into some shit. Every single time. It’s debilitating. You know the whole 30 min job turned 5 hours? Yeah I’ve done that about 5 times it’s debilitating. And I don’t wanna hear that’s just part of it. NOT ITS NOT!!!😭😭😭
