He's intended to be both functional with Velina and Norma but what I find interesting is that his aa activates with any character from Roscaelifer not just the E.S.D members. It makes me think that maybe all Roscaelifer agents will revolve around vortex or chains.
Vortex/Wind is expected new mechanic and all but it would be nice if Roscaelifer also keeps the focus on chain attacks going. Maybe we'll finally get long awaited chain attack disc set one of these days.

Why didn't they just call her a support?
Her kit is obviously a hard anomaly support and fits the description of support to a tee but she also shares nothing in common with the anomaly description she can't even trigger an attribute anomaly by herself. She's different to a character like Nangong who shares traits of both stunners and anomaly characters so she could've been either.
They also wouldn't have needed to go out of their way to add anomaly to Miyabi and Aria's additional abilities. I mean cool I guess but it would've been unneeded if Remielle was a support.
I feel like it also would have lessened the complains about her kit (a tiny bit).
Then there's new and very casual players Remielle being classed as an anomaly is kind of misleading for them.
