Stay hard

Does anyone find themselves re reading David’s book? I have the audio version. I literally listen to it every time I’m banging out work. Just got done a run and listening to Dave talk about how we use 40% is exactly how I felt. I started screaming fuck you out loud to my internal governor and absolutely killed the back part of the run.

Yachtmaster 40 gold 2000s

I am thinking of getting a gold Rolex. I have a sub and polar bear already. I have wanted a gold one for a while and was originally thinking of getting a yachtmaster 42 on oyster flex which I thought looked cool. However the watch is like 30k gray and even more from AD. it made me think of looking at older models and I found the yachtmaster 40, 16628. It’s actually completely gold instead of the oyster flex and it looks cool in my opinion and also selling for 25k ish. It’s seems like for 10k less and double the gold it should be the way to go. There are a ton available in nice condition which isn’t that surprising because it’s not an every day wear. I would be wearing it for special occasions like weddings and parties and stuff.

I was just wondering what the community thinks of this watch’s look overall. I don’t have one physically to look at and wonder if it might look dated?
