Hello fellow Java/Kotlin developers, my background: I used to develop apps for Android for 3-4 years about 4 years ago at the start of my career but now 100% Python.

Motivation: can’t find exact mod to satisfy my need for true survival experience

Goal: the least I wanna try to finish are two mods that alter animals (peaceful and predators) mechanics like:

1. peaceful animals can hear you/see you and run away notifying other animals around
2. predators try to be sneaky, see you from far and are harder to kill
   ‼️First of all these mods are for personal use only and for only one minecraft version (1.21.11 would be nice)

Question: How hard would to be for me to develop (with high usage of codex/claude because of lack of Modding experience) some playable minecraft mod?
