Advisory For Females Posting Here

Members (specially females) are advised that if any astrologer who gets into your dms whether on the pretext of helping you or otherwise tries to initiate a sexual conversation based on your chart when your og question was not about it, he's a creep... Whether or not he has knowledge of astrology.
We can see more things than you ask for but having astrological knowledge gives no pass to start such a conversation even if you have 6 planets in your 8th house as an example, a decent astrologer would not get into this Convo without your consent.
There have been reports of a member who recently posted on our sub (and some others) was contacted by creeps and harassed. In such cases, please let us know so that we can BAN them and make the sub safer for everyone.
We also encourage our members to file a complaint @ https://cybercrime.gov.in/Webform/Accept.aspx
Drop the Placements: Toxic Edition😈
We see a lot of people talking about leaving Narcissistic, bipolar and/ or psychotic partners in general.
Which placements in your opinion do this based on the stories of you or someone you know/ your client / your research study samples etc.
If you feel that you're psychotic, please don't be shy to drop in your placements too. I don't judge 😉
Venus in The 1st House Men Aren't Feminine. They're Just Pretty.
You wouldn't believe where the inspiration for this post came from.
It came from someone worried about looking feminine because of this placement.
I left a comment to reassure him...and it somehow kept getting longer and longer until I realized I'd basically written half an article.
So I figured I might as well turn it into one…. and maybe rescue a few more Venus-in-the-1st men who eventually find their way to my page (if they’re lucky enough).
Maybe I'll turn this into a series; Who knows?
Disclaimer: If you're a senior astrologer reading this, please don't come after me with Shukracharya being the Daitya Guru, his intelligence and diplomacy skills. I'm aware of them (been blessed with them myself as a Venus-ascendant lord conjunct Rahu at the exact same degree) and will probably write about that some day.
But today we're judging appearances.
Yes...
The superficial ones.
So here we go..!
So these men under the spotlight (and I guess they like that) – First House Venusians - are still masculine. Assuming, of course, no stronger Mercury, Ketu or 12th house influences are giving them genuine gender fluidity or a much softer presentation.
See a Venus in the 1st House man as the kind of guy who wouldn't leave his house without wearing the nicest perfume he can afford—and actually likes. He doesn't care whether it costs ₹2,000 or ₹20,000 (more zeroes if he’s loaded). If it smells good and makes him feel put together, he'll swear by it.
He's the kind who'll perfectly match his crisply draped turban (if he wears one) with his pocket square. Or if he's wearing a suit, his tie, pocket square, belt and shoes somehow all magically belong to the same color palette.
Nobody taught him this. He just...knows.
He's also the kind of guy who'll shamelessly steal skincare from his wife, girlfriend or sister and then act like it was sitting there for public use anyway. You put on a sheet mask? He's asking where the second one is because wearing those alone is a crime in that house.
Offer him collagen.
Offer him glutathione.
Offer him some fancy supplement that promises better skin.
Watch how quickly he says yes.
And don't even get me started on makeup.
This man probably owns a concealer.
Foundation.
A BB cream.
Some random tinted liquid he can find to cover some of his pigmentation. He may not know what it's called.
He just knows it works.
He knows how to pose for pictures too.
Knows his angles.
His lighting.
His better side.
His undertone.
Has probably even had his color analysis done after watching one too many videos online.
The kind of guy who genuinely looks more put together than the average groom at a wedding. (Making women secretly stare and maybe look away when he notices.)
You'll almost never have to tell this man what to wear.
Unless...
You’ve got Venus + Rahu in the 1st.
Or Venus as the Ascendant lord conjunct Rahu.
That's when they'll actually see you as someone who could suggest something better than what they already know. Rahu always thinks there's another trend to try, another fragrance to own, another level of presentation to unlock.
These guys could ask their female best friend to get them a foundation saying,
"It's for a friend who's getting married."
Sure.
Your "friend."
They're the ones who know how to present themselves better than almost anyone else. Hair. Skin. Clothes. Fragrance. Accessories. Somehow everything just works together.
But unfortunately...
If the 2nd house isn't housing...
He's just handsome as long as he doesn't start talking.
😭
Now for the combinations.
Ketu gets involved with Venus in the 1st?
You get a cute short king.
Saturn gets involved with Venus in the 1st?
Silver fox vibes.
somehow manages to make a plain black T-shirt look expensive.
Throw Mars and Rahu together with Venus...
...and you've created the charming narcissist you know you should stay away from.
But won't.
The best gift for these men?
Skincare.
Trust me.
They'd absolutely use it.
They'd just never ask for it.
(All of the above are true stories of multiple real-life Venus in the 1st House men.)
P.S. If you're specifically talking about a genuinely androgynous or gender-fluid appearance, I'd be looking at Mercury, Ketu and the 12th house before blaming Venus in the 1st.
Venus in the 1st usually just likes looking good.

Placements Which Indicate You'll Likely WFH (Or At Least Wish You Did)

Obviously, astrology wasn't sitting there in 1500 BC predicting Zoom meetings and Teams calls. So no, there isn't a placement that literally says "Congratulations. You shall work from your bedroom."
These are just observations I've made over the years. Assuming there aren't stronger placements opposing these. Also, some of these are career-specific. Not every doctor with these placements is suddenly going to start seeing patients over Google Meet.
#1 Moon Taurus / Moon 4H / Cancer influence
These people just like….No wait.
They abso-effing-lutely love being at home.
These are the people who'd choose working in pyjamas over business formals every single time. They'll snack every couple of hours, raid the fridge between meetings and somehow still end up being more productive than they would've been in an office.
Especially Cancer Moon women—we (yes, that's me included) could have a job and a business running simultaneously and still be housewives at heart. (As a vibe —not because we love chores. Those are Capricorns.)
#2 Heavy Scorpio / 8H placements (especially Moon/1L involved)
These people do their absolute best staying hidden. Give them an option to avoid unnecessary meetings? They'll happily take it.
Give them an option to switch their camera off? They're blessing you with their aesthetic matte-black heart.
Unless the career itself is very Scorpio-coded and they're genuinely passionate about it, most of them are happier WFH. Less people. Less interruptions. Less pretending to enjoy small talk (brownie points for this).
#3 Moon 3H (especially job-wise)
These guys physically cannot sit still.
Five minutes at the desk.
Phone check.
Kitchen trip.
Random pacing.
Looking outside the window.
Washroom trip.
Texts bestie.
Back to work.
(Repeats every 20 minutes)
Remote work lets them get away with all of this (assuming they manage to move their cursor every 5 minutes so that Teams doesn't expose their crimes by turning them yellow).
Office mein?
Maalik kaam se nikaal dega. 😂
#4 Ketu in the first house (cousin of #3)
Better off not getting caught zoning out.
Because they will zone out.
It's not even procrastination. Their brain just randomly disconnects from Earth every now and then.
Again...
Maalik kaam se nikaal dega. 😭
#5 12H/L associated with the 6H/10H. Moon 12H (especially if not abroad)
This placement screams seclusion.
Like...if astrology had to invent WFH before WFH existed, it'd probably come up with something like this. Earlier this would've manifested as monasteries, research labs, hospitals, foreign lands etc.
Now?
WFH.
Or WF some random hostel in Himachal.
😂
#6 Rahu influencing the 10H / Mercury (assuming the job itself isn't straight out of an Imtiaz Ali movie where the protagonist is travelling the world while somehow getting paid for ‘finding themselves’)
This one deserves way more attention than it gets. Rahu literally thrives in technology, virtual spaces and unconventional career paths.
It's not surprising seeing these people in IT, AI, digital marketing, consulting, online businesses or working for clients they've never met in person.
Also explains the people who have three laptops, two monitors and colleagues they've worked with for four years but couldn't identify in a police lineup.
#7 4H ↔ 10H connection (and the career isn’t 4H coded – ghar/gaadi/hotel/ Alam Doodh Soda ki Dukan etc.)
Learn to take a joke before you come at me with "Alam Doodh Soda is more 8H than 4H."
(Espionage ops.)
4L in 10H/ 10L in 4H / Exchange between them.
Strong mutual aspects.
Career literally comes home.
These people usually feel emotionally settled working from familiar surroundings. Doesn't always mean permanent WFH, but I'd never be surprised if they preferred hybrid or remote work over travelling an hour every day just to attend meetings that could've been emails.
#8 Ketu + Moon
Unless the profession itself is very Ketu-Moon coded (research, spirituality, occult, healing etc.), these people tend to go through phases where they mentally disappear, become anxious or get overstimulated.
WFH helps because it removes a lot of unnecessary environmental triggers and lets them focus only on work instead of surviving office politics.
Honourable Mention: Saturn influencing the 10H / 6H (especially in the 20s)
This placement doesn’t indicate WFH (which is why I’ve not labelled it #9).
But here's a piece of advice if you're in your 20s and your ascendant lord isn't besties with Saturn.
Out of sight. Out of mind.
Less chances of unnecessary boss problems. Less office politics. Less getting dragged into conversations they never wanted to have in the first place.
Saturn likes routine anyway. As long as the work gets done, everybody wins.
Of course, these aren't hard rules.
The same placements can manifest in a hundred different ways depending on the chart, profession and dasha.
This is simply one way I've seen traditional symbolism adapt to modern workplaces. WFH didn't exist when these combinations were described—but seclusion, technology, independent work and working from home fit that symbolism surprisingly well.
The chart doesn't predict Zoom meetings. It predicts themes. We just happen to live in a world where one possible manifestation of those themes is logging into work in pyjama bottoms.
