Poor guy is so upset. Got him re-tucked in and put on a kids movie on my laptop to try to drown out the noise 🥲

Pure disgust that I took him for his annual exam
Sorry for the text but after seeing a weirdo stealing his pictures and impersonating being his owner, not messing with that 😭
8.5 pounds, 2 years old and in excellent shape per the vet today. Not even typical Sphynx teeth staining!
Emotionally he’s disgusted I’d remove him from his heated bed and the soulful yowling from his carrier was dramatic af but he’s good

Tail tip chewing??
Our guy keeps getting an inflamed tip of his tail like maybe once a year???
We went on a short trip and he was highly offended that I left him (five days) but my sister came over multiple times and spent time with him, turned his blanket on, fed him treats, etc. He also has his cat brother for companionship.
In his eyes, he was abandoned 🥲 his tail tip is all angry looking again and I’m starting to think if he gets anxious and chews on it?? I’ve never seen him do this but it’s the only thing I can think of. He’s going to the vet on Friday for his annual checkup and I’ll of course show her and get her thoughts.
Just wanted to hear from the Sphynx hive mind in the interim.

Fireworks and GS..
We were walking our 11 month puppy last night and some jack wagon decided to blow some fireworks up. (We’re in a severe drought and they’re highly illegal right now)
Poor guy was definitely scared and assumed the “oh sh*t” position.
He was born 7/17, so this is his first Fourth of July. We have some rowdy neighbors that despite it being illegal will no doubt will be going all night long if it’s anything like last year.
I don’t want my pup terrified. How can I help him?

It’s super hot..what summer cut do you do or get done for your GS?
He goes to the groomer next week so any ideas/pictures are appreciated.
It’s been in the 90’s and we’re at high altitude so it’s extra brutal.
He’s currently a wooly mammoth. 🦣

Is your Sphynx also extra? lol
He rotates between his heated blanket/noodle bed combo and the bamboo blanket on our bed. Sometimes he feels extra needy and requires being tucked in and will find someone to do it.
He also likes a bowl of water next to his water fountain (merely wants options) and will run around yelling at everyone to turn on the sinks for him, which we all happily oblige because he’s simply the best cat.
As my husband says, I raised a diva 😆

Weight tapering off at 10 months?
Is it normal for their growth to stagnate at times?
Our pup has not gained very much in the past month. Maybe a pound or two depending on scale accuracy?
He is thick and tall, still crazy and does not seem unwell in any regard. He eats the recommended amount for his age per his bag of food without any issue.
Just worried, weighed him expecting 5-10 pounds gained and it’s more like two pounds. I’ll obviously call the vet first thing Monday but wanted the GS hive mind. He’s our first.

Colorado SPH Financial Aid
Does anyone have a direct contact for financial aid for the Colorado School of Public Health? Admissions told me there’s not a way to directly email them. That can’t be right?
I still don’t have a financial aid package and the semester starts in two weeks. Nothing is wrong with my FAFSA and they originally told me late April/early May for my financial aid package.
Maybe of note? Admitted since February. Starting in summer so I’m grandfathered in for the loans, so I’m extra worried.

Does this also infuriate others? Vitamin K injection doesn’t even have thimerosal for them to argue that it will cause their child harm. Now the anti-vaxxers are also anti-vitamin?
