Controversial Opinion: stop recommending livestock to deal with temporary tank issues.
It really feels like every time someone posts about stuff like algae, snail problems, etc there's always replies like buy otos, buy amanos, buy pea puffers.
- These are all treating the symptoms, not the cause. Algae: balance your water parameters 2. Snails stop overfeeding etc
These are all probably new aquarists, with potentially unstable tanks, and inexperience in husbandry. Why are we recommending livestock that they will now be obligated to care for especially with things like pea puffers and otos that require some degree of care, research and setup for them to thrive.
