And there they are accusing us of false wrongdoings whilst their platform is allowing them to do the things they are accusing us of! Absolute madness!
2 days ago, I woke up in shock to a notification from Instagram that my account had been blocked due to a false accusation of CSE community violations. Naturally, I was sick to my stomach and had anxiety through the roof. Of course, I've never committed such violations, but to have a major tech company call you a p*do was inherently shocking, and I'm disgusted by that false claim. Not only do they have no evidence to support their claim when appealing, but you also can't even rectify it with a human.
So I did what most people are doing and took to the internet (I had nothing better to do, seeing as I couldn't see any of my socials and needed to reduce my anxiety). I see I'm not alone, there are thousands of people all over the world who are going through the same situation as I'm currently going through, but some are far worse, businesses are being affected, people globally wanting to connect to loved ones - all gone. memories - vanished, and years of building communities and connections - disappeared.
What I find disgusting is that Mark Z and his heinous company are allowed to treat us, mere consumers, like collateral damage, like we don't matter, we're now disconnected, being accused of interfering with minors and suffering in silence.
And it gets worse, META has leaked all our data for the most ridiculous hack known to man, where their own chatbot (as he has no staff now, as 8,0000 employess have been laid off) has created a huge GDPR leak following suit from their 875,000 dollar lawsuit.
So here we are, no accounts, being accused of things we haven't done, and not being able to receive help nor voice our concerns. It's been 2 days, and my account is still pending review. What did I do? I only went onto their beloved platform to see how my friends and family are getting on with their lives, all whilst the METAverse creates chaos around me.
I found this video, which I think highlights the issue with their AI mass bans, which is a major cause for concern. We really are in the age where robots matter more than humans.
If anyone has any help to get my account back or has any ideas on how I can do so, it'll be much appreciated. I'm UK-based, so I can't get Legal Shield or GAC.
