Front Range Rail plan is officially given the green light by the board of directors!
From the Denver Post. They still have to meet later in the year to approve construction, but the plan is to get daily intercity trains between Denver and Fort Collins by 2029. Huge for the Front Range, one of the biggest intercity transit slam dunk regions in the country (big cities close together, all in a line) that doesn’t yet have a connecting rail system!
I'm a simple man. When I see a Brian Phillips article clowning on a douchebag university president, I post it to the IBCK sub.

reddit.comIf you're wondering what the researchers mean by 'racial resentment,' here's the explanation from the Brennan Center:
>The metric was developed by political scientists Donald Kinder and Lynn Sanders in the 1980s as a way to measure white Americans’ attitudes toward black Americans. It is based on respondents’ answers to questions about how much they attribute socioeconomic disparities between black and white Americans to slavery and racial discrimination or to a lack of hard work and perseverance by black Americans. The more an individual agrees with the general sentiment that black people’s lack of effort is the primary reason for racial disparities, the higher that individual’s racial resentment score.
