Annahme Verweigert??? Ich war aber gar nicht da...

Hallo!

Jedes Mal etwas Neues...

Naja...

Veto: Open-source, mobile and NATIVE VirusTotal client for quick file and URL analysis (Testers needed)

Hi r/Malware,

If you ever need to quickly scan a suspicious file, URL, or installed application on an Android device using VirusTotal, I have built an open-source client called Veto. It lets you run queries using your own API key directly from your mobile device.

GitHub: https://github.com/ProfessorQuantumUniverse/Veto

I am currently trying to release the app on Google Play and need to fulfill Google's closed testing period. If you would like to test this tool, please consider opting in.

Steps to join:

Veto: Open-source VirusTotal client for Android (looking for beta testers).

Hi everyone,

I have developed Veto, a free, native and open-source Android client for VirusTotal. It allows you to scan local files, URLs, and installed applications directly from your phone. To ensure privacy, it requires your own personal (free) VirusTotal API key, meaning no scan data is routed through third-party servers.

The project is fully open source under GPLv3. You can inspect the code on GitHub:
https://github.com/ProfessorQuantumUniverse/Veto

To get the app on Google Play, I need to complete the 14-day closed testing phase. If you are interested in a clean, ad-free mobile security utility, I would be grateful if you could help test it.

How to participate:

I welcome any feedback on features or usability!

Search for a 55x55 wall thermostat (Zigbee/Matter) for 230V water underfloor heating.

Hello everyone,

I am looking for smart home thermostats for my water underfloor heating (230V actuators).

The biggest problem is the form factor: The thermostats must fit into the standard European 55x55 mm grid, as they are to be integrated into my existing Busch-Jaeger frames. Unfortunately, all the clunky 86x86 blocks are completely out of the question. That's why the Bosch thermostat, which is so often recommended, is also eliminated.

My setup and requirements:

Protocol: Zigbee is preferred (via Zigbee2MQTT), alternatively Thread or Matter. I don't want to add another protocol (like Homematic IP or Z-Wave) to my setup.

Control: 100% local in Home Assistant, without cloud.

Quality/price: I am looking for a good price-performance ratio. Affordable, but it should be solid, reliable stuff (not unstable no-name junk).

I have already found two options:

ENGO Controls E55

Heatit Zig Therm

Do you have any other insider tips or experience with devices that fit exactly into the 55 frames and run stably in Home Assistant? I'm really desperate in my search... 🥲

Thank you for your tips or ideas!

LG
