3 warnings = Devs Can’t Fix Clinching

I see why 3 warnings are given because clinching either doesn’t penalize someone at all majority of the time, and when it does, it is inaccurate as Stevie Wonder throwing darts. Didn’t know he was on the dev team.

Is this the best that clinching can be!?!

One Punch Knockdowns?

Do you think one-punch knockdowns could become part of the game in the future, or would they have too much potential for exploitation to ever be seriously considered?

Pushing Can Totally Exist

People on my post keep saying certain things are impossible or shouldn’t be entertained by the development team.

Therefore, people will say pushing is “impossible” just because you can’t physically move the real player. But that’s not the point. The game doesn’t have to push the person in real life. It only has to simulate the result of pressure inside the game.

In multiplayer, each player has their own roomscale space, but both players exist inside a larger shared ring. So when one player applies pressure or a shoulder push, the game could shift the other player’s virtual playspace/origin backward within that ring. You’re not literally pushing their body. You’re pushing their position relative to the shared space.

The challenge is not whether pushing can exist. The challenge is realigning the spaces smoothly afterward. During that recovery moment, the game could temporarily limit certain avatar movement, especially moving straight back into the opponent, until the player’s virtual body and playspace are aligned again. That prevents clipping, teleporting, or instantly canceling the push.

Single player is even more obvious. If I push a CPU opponent, the game can just move that character back, make them stumble, pause, reset their stance, or animate the effect. There’s no second real person’s roomscale space to reconcile. And if the CPU pushes the player, the game can still simulate the effect through virtual positioning.

And yes, I know blatant pushing is illegal. If someone is clearly shoving with their hands, that should be a warning, penalty, or point deduction. But shoulder pressure, body pressure, crowding, and forcing someone backward are real parts of fighting and ring control.

So no, pushing is not impossible. It just needs to be implemented intelligently.

Private Servers Please - Anti-Kids

Kids ruin the game because they fail to play tactical. Some of them do, but most just talk talk talk about nothing other than to keep their ego intact.

I want to play competitive and get better, but I can’t do that when I hop into a server, and there is a bunch of kids on my team or on the other team and they are simply being demolished.

We just need a way to kick people, and private servers have always been a way to solve this problem.
