I’ve been going through the NYC DV shelter process for three years with a family of all girls all young. We finally got approved for an apartment so I decided to look at the area and look online and everything I’ve seen and heard about the area isn’t great. I just wanna know if it would be good for someone in my scenario I’m also worried my kid has ptsd and gun shots might give her a panic attack so I’m assuming it isn’t a great decision after that alone.
