I really can’t tell if he’s serious or if he’s fucking with me at this point

Context for everyone jumping to conclusions:

  1. I grabbed ONE item in an emotional moment and immediately reached out to him to return it because I wanted to do the right thing.
  2. For everyone acting like I hauled off some massive mechanic's tool chest—it is literally the size of a pencil case. I carry my sketchbook and a pencil case around with me everywhere anyway, and this was sitting directly next to my own stuff. I grabbed it by mistake while packing in a frenzy.
  3. The guy in the texts has deliberately gone through my packed bags, let my stuff get ruined, and is currently holding my Fire Stick, AirPods, and other belongings hostage.
  4. He ignores my texts trying to get my property back, but the second I try to return his item, he uses it as an excuse to call me a thief with "dark core values" so he can justify keeping all of my stuff.
  5. The "order of operations" text is him deflecting because he literally cannot defend the fact that he is actively stealing from me.
