Coworker Wants to Learn My Tasks, Normal Collaboration or Something Else?
Hello, I’m working part-time with a company and they recently offered me a full-time engineering position. There’s something that has been bothering me and I wanted to know if it’s normal or not.
There is a coworker who handles different work (python development), while I handle AWS/DevOps tasks. Lately, she seems to want to get involved in my work or do parts of it. For example, recently she asked if we could have a meeting so I could explain to her how to use the *** repo so that she can use it later.
The thing is, this repository and the related work are completely under my responsibilities and outside her role. I didn’t feel comfortable saying no, so I agreed, but it left me wondering if this is normal behavior in a workplace or if I’m overthinking it.
