A first flying SFO-AMS on KLM in 5days and currently booked in economy (K) through Delta’s website. Curious for those who have flown this route recently:

1. What were your upgrade offers from Economy to Business (cash or miles)?
2. Did prices drop closer to check-in or airport?
3. Is SFO-AMS usually a difficult route to upgrade because business sells out easily?
   I currently see 6 open business seats. My guess is maybe 4 for sale and 2 protected for upgrades, but not sure if that’s even how KLM does it.
   Would love to hear real experiences.
