Getting asked out as a joke in college

I am in my first week of college (freshman) and so far I have been able to meet some really cool people. As I was walking to the university Chick-fil-A I was stopped by a girl and she had two guy friends. She had asked if me and my friend had bfs and I said no (I already knew this was a joke but I responded since its hard for me to ignore people). She then said that her hbs were looking for gfs and how they had expressed interest in us and I just walked away and shook my head. I overheard one of the guys say that he did not say that (which ofc I knew since it was dark and I had never seen these people before).

Its crazy because when I was actually ugly in ms and hs this didnt happen (the only other time was by a group of boys at a track meet a few months ago). I feel like I have had a little glow up since then. I am fit, take grooming seriously, upgraded my style, etc. I have also been complimented a few times on my looks while on campus by some of the girls.

I have never felt attractive so this just reaffirms my feelings. Also, I dont know of any other ways to improve myself so if any of you have tips that would be well appreciated. (Also Im surprised the person who did this was a girl and not a boy since usually boys are the immature ones)

Dual Enrollment Credits

I am an incoming freshman at NCAT that has taken dual enrollment classes (which are supposed to transfer). I was registered for classes before I was assigned an advisor but they are all entry level classes that I have already taken. A recent email was sent by my advisor about setting up an appointment but she also said that she will not be making any changes to our schedules. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, were you able to change your classes or did you have to contact a higher-up?

Also I scheduled a one-on-one appointment at the end of July but with the courses I am taking I am not sure if classes will all be filled up. Should I see if I can get an earlier appointment? Thanks.
