first year fly fishing and i’ve never been happier

i’m still quite young but almost my whole life i’ve had horrible mental health, confidence, and even just physical health as well. i’m making this post to show the heartwarming and positive impact this hobby/sport has had on me. it’s the best therapy i’ve ever tried just being outside on the water helps me clear my head and get less wrapped up in all the negativity this world has to offer, by instead showing me all of the beauty.

big thanks to this entire community for being helpful and encouraging. go catch some fish!

any tips?

i’ve been riding with my dad for a little bit now but i just can’t quite get a comfortable foot position on my pegs. i used to race mtb and i’m used to the pegs/pedals on the front balls of my foot but then i have to move my foot to hit the back brake. should i keep doing this or put the peg more towards the heel

she’s almost done…

i’m absolutely in love with this bike but, i just need some good strap compatible pedals before i take it on more rides. i’m thinking silver is my most wanted color to match the seat post and headset.

so i’m turning to reddit to see if anyone knows of some kick ass pedals. i work at a shop but i can’t seem to find any worth buying on QBP, so some help would be awesome!
