I got into Mega Man in January of this year cuz the Dual Override trailer pushed me to truly get into Mega Man. I played 11 On release day and was excited for the future, but obviously Mega Man 12 never came and I just never got around to the Legacy Collections. So when I did beat Mega Man 1, it was love at first sight. But after that, I went straight into X and my life changed.

The World of X is something I hold so dear to my heart now. Its a saga that spans across so many games and I grew so attached with each one. I honestly didn't even hate X7. When I first played all the games, i always folded to Rookie Hunter mode by the end cuz of my major skill issue. But I decided to play them all again and its like I had become a god outta nowhere.

I've beaten X1 6 times in the last month, I love the least back tracking route (from J's Reviews) and I've beaten X4 god knows how many times (also least back tracking, as X). So after I got the XLC on Xbox, I beat all of the games without Rookie Hunter Mode again and loved them even more. Without knowing it, I had gotten most of the Achievements so I decided to lock in and 100% the Collection.

I'm at 86% on Xbox, but I decided to go back to PS5 since that's where I fell in love to begin with. And now I sit here, my fingers are sore and I'm filled with adrenaline after playing these games all day for the last 2 days. It was an incredible experience to get the platinum. Obviously there's still a few achievements left on Xbox, but the PS5 is my favorite console so that was the main drive for me.

So yeah, I just had to yap on about this cuz It means so much to me and I don't really have any friends that are into Mega Man or Mega Man X so I wanted to share this with you guys. Once I get the 100% on Xbox I'll post it too. I'll probably end up doing X5-X8 without Rookie Hunter Mode but I definitelt won't go for the Platinum/100% because I don't love X5 and X6 is a miserable experience for me. I might get all the X8 trophies though cuz I do love X8.
