Why does nobody talk about Yuki Kawamura? As a Japanese fan, I think he has proven he's a legit backup PG and I want Pacers to give him a 2 or 3-year standard NBA contract for Haliburton's backup.
Japanese fan here. We heard the news of Kawamura playing for Pacers in Summer League.
As far as I've seen Kawamura's highlights which our country's daily sports news programs show, I think he has proven he's a legit NBA point guard. He makes his shots and great assists. Any team needs a star-level point guard with high percentage shooting & defensive ability like Kawamura.
Also, official NBA channel has already posted his highlight tapes multiple times since he came to the league. We've been wondering why he doesn't get more minutes. He's so great.
As a Japanese fan, I want Pacers to give him a 2 or 3-year standard NBA contract for Haliburton's backup. Kawamura seems better than any back end of roster players or two-way players.
