Silicon free hair treatment, is it worth trying?

Hi, I’ve been using regular hair treatments containing silicones for a while now, but lately, I’ve noticed they leave my hair feeling heavy and weighed down. Honestly, every time I wash my hair, it feels like there's this weird, waxy residue that just won't rinse out properly.

Because of this, I'm thinking about switching to a silicone-free treatment. I’ve been looking into some AB options, and I noticed brands like Moev and Dr.FORHAIR have silicone-free treatments that claim to provide hydration without the heavy build-up.

For those who made the switch to silicone-free hair treatments: Is it actually worth trying? Does it really help with the heavy, greasy feeling while still keeping the ends soft?

Looking for serum recommendations with Niacinamide + Panthenol for oily skin!

My skin is oily and highly acne-prone, and I’m dealing with acne scars as well.

I used to be a skincare maximalist and piled on a ton of products, but I’ve realized it’s too much for my oily skin. I'm trying to minimize my routine and cut down to just one solid serum that can do it all. That’s why I'm specifically looking for a formula that combines Niacinamide and Panthenol. What I know is that those ingredients are good for acne scars and for breakouts as well.

These are some options and I've found:

- Celimax Cica Serum

- Purito Seoul Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Serum

- Mediheal Madecassoside Blemish Repair Serum

- Abib Heatleaf TECA Capsule Serum

- Torriden Balanceful Control Serum

- Dr.G Clear Hyal Cica Soothing Serum

- Earthat Strawbby Glow Serum

- Wellage Real Cica Calming Trouble Ampoule

- Numbuzin No.1 Serum

I'm not entirely sure about the exact percentages of the key ingredients in these products or how much they actually matter, so any insights on that would be highly appreciated.

Out of these options, which one do you think would work best for my skin type? Or if you've tried any of these, what was your experience?

Re up : My summer routine for oily skin and head (+airconditioning)

Due to following the review tag mod told me to re sub, :')

Skin type: these days mostly dry but gets oily on T zone,

Weather: Super hot and humid, it will be worst in August

As it's getting hotter and more humid in Japan, I've been trying to simplify my summer routine. My skin and scalp tend to get oily throughout the day, but at the same time I still deal with some dryness, especially when I'm staying in air conditioned places for long hours.

One thing I've noticed is that I absolutely hate heavy or sticky products during summer. If something feels greasy after 10 minutes, I probably won't use it again no matter how good the ingredients are.

These are the products I've been using the most lately:

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Toner ★★★★★

Medixxxx (due to sub policy) PDRN Pink Peptide Serum ★★★★

Medixxxx (due to sub policy) PDRN Pink Hyaluronic Moisturizing Cream ★★★

Celimax Noni Ampoule ★★★★

Urbanand Propolis Serum ★★★★★

Earthat Comforting Cream ★★★★★

Bananal Hair Essence ★★★★★

Those reviews for stars are based on the climates and situation based since I always look for things that arent getting sticky and those serums and creams are for the perfect match and hair essence Ive got like 4 of them but for summer I use Bananal's one

The main reason I keep reaching for these is because they're some of the least sticky products I've tried so far. Everything layers pretty well together and doesn't leave that heavy feeling on my skin, even on humid days.

Got Stitch figure in Disney store in Japan

Found this random Stitch figure in Disney Store in Shibuya, Tokyo. The display was sooo cute that I couldn't resist buying one! It seems there's a switch to on light as well!

tried that viral tiktok anillo hair treatment & essence

i saw these on tiktok and thought the containers looked pretty. As you can see see the container itself is like muted, aesthetic rose tone that looks really nice on my vanity. i originally was using the &honey treatment and recently switched things up and bought this set on Amazon. it's the anillo rosy night ampoule treatment and hair essence oil. i've been using them together for about two weeks now and i actually have some thoughts.

didn't really expect anything dramatic at first cause i bought it for the look. it’s a liquid-to-cream formula that warms up like a mini steam pack when it hits wet hair. the pointed nozzle is pretty handy because i can squeeze it exactly where my damaged cuticles are without making a mess. it was not one of those products where your hair suddenly feels amazing right away, but after a couple of weeks, my hair definitely feels softer, less dry, and detangled.

then, i finish up with the hair essence oil. it’s on the more watery, lightweight side. i use flat iron almost daily and i feel like applying this helps with heat damage. i usually put it on damp hair before blow-drying, and add a tiny bit more after styling.

if i have to pick a downside, the oil bottle is glass so it feels a bit heavy. since it’s made of glass i’m quite scared to break it when using it, but so far i’m just careful with it.
