Just writing because I need support and people who understand. I just found out I’m pregnant…. Three positive tests…. thing is I was diagnosed and started treatment in November 2025. We were not supposed to even think about kids until April… precautions were taken and obviously failed. I feel irresponsible and like I messed up bad. Scared about a relapse as I’m currently being worked up for possible optic neuritis. I was supposed to take my Kesimpta today… I feel lost and scared.

What alternative jobs to clinical pathology are there out there? And where are they? I’m a board certified AP/CP pathologist who is in there first year of practice. I am also GI/liver fellowship trained. I actually like what I do and the slides but I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and my job is pretty demanding. It’s been pretty difficult and stressful. I’m wondering what are my options outside of clinical medicine if there is any. Your help is greatly appreciated!

I am just frustrated because before this I was a healthy 32 year old old with no issues other than extreme stress. I was diagnosed with MS in November 2025. My first symptom was in April and presented as an acute stroke. Well now I have joint pain and internal vibrations that my doctor is saying isn’t associated with MS but I had NONE of this before. I’ve been with my husband for 12 years and the other day he said he saw me vibrating while sleeping. My neurologist said it was due to the snoring…. This man has seen me snore for 12 years and never mentioned vibrating. Ughhh. It’s gotten to the point I mostly don’t even tell her because I know she is going to say it’s not associated with it.
