He was alone, how did he appear here? Here of all places; alone and cut off from his battle brothers. His memory foggy, a haze of dreams and scarce images that offered barely an explanation to the question; all he knew was this was terra judging by the grand infrastructure and greater than life artistry. Where in terra? Well that was a bigger mistery; the scenary only suggested that this was somewhere within the imperial palace, a section he hadn’t traveled before.. which was impossible but not entirely. All he knew was that he found himself somewhere withing the bowels of the imperial palace. Alone and no recolection of how it came to be.

His hands held tightly the black blade granted to him by the agents of the sigilite. He spared a glance at it as he continued his stride; it was indeed beautiful. Noticing it’s elegance now that he found his being in a rare moment of calm as he traversed the labyrinthian halls of human carved stone. His helm pierced the shadows and dimos lit corridors like a beast clad in black steel of crimson eyes. The tabard hanging over his armor displaying the cross proudly; as it felt… comfortable to have it. It felt right at home for some reason.. as if there was purpose to bear it though in truth he can’t remember why.

Suddenly he stopped; before him another stood; an ally, a rival, a contender; a beast clad in armor like his but white and blue; it’s helm decorated with brutish blunt horns. In the newcomers hands laid an axe armed in serrated, moving teeth. The weapon growled and addressed him with absolute hatred; the rival spoke no words, staring directly with the same level of disdain he had for them.

“Khârn..” Sigismund spoke first with all the poison he could bare in a single word.

“Son of Dorn..” The eight captain of the world eaters replied; a growl of hate and rage.

In another other time, this would be a battle most dangerous. One where the perhaps the primarch’s consort would urge him to be careful, to wait for reinforcement before engaging. And fortunately for him, he didn’t had to report to him… to that mortal. It’s is true that he did not hate nor disliked the human named magister, like other memberw of the legion that embraced him within their ranks. But that was part of the problem why he was skepticle; the way all others quickly embraced, how they rapidly named him a high ranking officer equal to the primarch ignoring the fact his character was not impervious of flaws. In secret sigismund questioned the primarch’s decision on bringing the mortal with her; why should he be allowed authority to command members of the legion? for all the grand achievements to him it seemed lacking of merits worthy of leading.

But that was an entire different issue… an issue not worth discussing. Especially as Khârn lifted the monstrous chain axe gorechild. It’s engine roaring a cacophony of wrath and need for blood. The black blade was held tightly and readied. There was a strange almost pure joy in the savage performance about to take place. Finally one foe with which he could truly cut loose, finally a chance to rid the imperium of a treacherous worm, finally a chance to repay the traitors in blood as they had stained those who were once called brothers.

Neither warrior moved; it was eternity before the first step was taken. Their massive bodies leaping towards the other in murderous intent with impossible speed. The black blade was thrusted forward as gorechild was slamed down with all it’s users might. Whoever wins in this fight, they would leave bloodied and hurt.

The civil war that brought the imperium of man to it’s knees succeeded in showing chaos; but failed to burn it’s foundations as compared to canon.

The crimson queen remained true and took their place on the golden throne; The preatorian of Terra encountered the arch-traitor first and as a consecuence was slain despite battling bravely against the archictect of treason. The master of mankind; while victorious was greatly wounded, thus interred in a specialized dreadnought war suit, able to still command their imperium but succumbs to periods of dormancy. Awakening every so often to lead the imperium through it’s most dire times.

But the slumber of mankind’s sheperd increases with every time becoming harder to wake them. With the angel returned as the fortress world of Cadia had fallen; the citizens of the imperium can only hope that such omen bring a light of hope in the coming tide of darkness.

HELLO EVERYONE!, me again, the guy who always hijacks this sub to talk about alt heresies again. This time around I bring to you one of the couple heresies written where sanguinius of all people takes the role of arch-traitor. For this one, I decided to focus on the alt heresy written by Tanner151 on Bolter and chain sword, you should be able to find it if your interested in reading it yourself. This one in particular is where the khan falls to tzeentch and the wolf king to slaanesh. Sadly, it hasn't been updated since it was written on 2014, but should be worth to check out.

Here I Am again, this time with an alt heresy Ferra Manus. I think i could’ve made it more Slaaneshy since it might look a bit more undivided or dark mechanicum. Let me know what you think.

Here’s another alt heresy portrait, this time the queen of drakes herself under the loving arms of grandfather nurgle. I’m a bit unsure with this one since the details seem a bit too noisy making it hard to pin point whats going on.
