Ozzy's Apizza
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Ozzy's is making the best pie in town. Go ahead, hate me. But if you haven't tried it, you should. Right now.

Did someone pass? The usual fire/ambulance teams raced in, but seemed to leave without anyone, no sirens as they departed. Then the police started showing up in large groups, uniformed at first, then plain clothes...anyone know what happened?
Can anyone point me to a rave worthy chicken scarpiello available anywhere in New Haven? The kind with hot peppers and that glorious vinegar bite? I've tried in vain to find one worth ordering again, and the closest I've found is the chicken pimiento at Barcelona, which is incredible, just not Italian. Anyone have the scoop?
It's great to see the smoke shops closing all over the city. The two largest ones on Chapel have both closed recently, and it looks like the city is making a concerted effort to go after more. I have nothing against those who smoke, and I welcome the dispensaries that are popping up here and there, but the abundance of smoke shops (5 in total on Chapel between State and College alone) are just blight. I only hope the storefronts will be utilized by better options going forward.
