Has anyone had any luck finding a financial advisor? I'm looking for someone who understands ADHD, specifically. I'm not rich and not dealing with a lot of money but, living in one of the ​most expensive cities in the world, needing to pay for my own health costs, having family rely on me (hello, fellow ​eldest daughters out there), and needing to move multiple times after being priced out of rent increases.....I'm exhausted. I could really use someone in my corner to be like "you can do this but put X in savings and Y in investment". I've gone through the one available at my work but 'you should invest" is only so helpful when something as small as egg prices fluctuating gives my budget pause.

My adult sibling is having their birthday next month and asked to go to a nice restaurant for dinner. Problem is they are very picky. As in, they eat the same plain food almost everyday. It's a texture thing not a choice and what gives them an ick can change (at least from my perspective). They want a nice experience, where they can dress up a little but still get something not intimidating. They'd be fine trying something a little different and just not eating/taking it home/switching with someone. With respect to the restaurant of course. They just don't want to go into something they definitely can't even consider. They're also allergic to fish so sushi and adjacent is out.

I'm not local and would appreciate any insight on places to check out. There will only be four of us.

Can anyone help us find them an accessible special time?

Do you have any favorite books that are retellings or inspired by another famous book? I'm thinking like how Kingfisher's "what moves the dead" is a retelling of "the fall of usher". I'm really interested if anyone has anything Lovecraft inspired (not just lovecraftian in the tropes but inspired by an actual story).
