Gondar Palace renovation by Abiy
what do you yall think of it? I personally don't like it because it looks like a palace built in 2020 not centuries old palace, I feel think the govt didnt care much about its history. It should be kept well yes sure but we should keep its original looks and history. I think it should be done again with these in mind. I prefer the prev looks because it looks historical, it has aura then after renovation, it looks some modern palace like one of abiy's glittery projects like an extension of his corridor design. I think it should be re built again with this in mind.

The traditional ካባ and በርኖስ of Menz, North Shewa
The ካባ origin lies in North Shewa, Amhara during the imperial era as a courtly dress for wealthier individuals. It is now widely used in Habesha communities (Eritreans included) as celebratory wedding fashion. (It seems Zewditu was a very popular user of it)
The iconic Bernos (the one with the side point) is the black wool cloak of the Amhara highlands, from Menz, Shewa Amhara. Donald Levine specifically noted that the wealthier armed men of Menz were the main group that wore the style.

Fano should be neutral If abiy wants to fight ximdo, its good for us if he kicks out tplf and shabya, they are the whole reason the country in this state right now
we have two enemies Abiy and TPLF/shabya. As much as, I hate both I prefer at least abiy in the center than end up beating abiy leaving us at 1991 where tplf and shabya are regional hegemons, I much prefer abiy at center than have tplf and shabya at center, I am pretty sure they will balkanize ethiopia, not that I care about Ethiopia balkanizing but if Ethiopia balkanize we should at least be the strongest in region, doing that while having tplf and shabya is pure stupidity.
If Abiy wants war with them, we should stay neutral and build stronger fano then we deal with abiy. ENDF is shitty fighters so not really a problem, their drones are very impressive though.
those old donkeys should be gone, no 80 70 year old isayas and donkey debretsion should be influencing ethiopia, he should have retired not push their expired ideologies. at same time we also liberate eritrea and tigray from these terrorists.
