I'm starting the Aviation program at Big Bend Community College this fall. I reached out to the program about taking a ground school, and they told me that I'll still need to complete their ground school courses even if I take an online ground school beforehand.
With that in mind, what are the best things I can do this summer to prepare? Would it still be worth doing a course like Sporty's, or would my time be better spent on something else? I'm also considering studying weather, radio communications, or aerodynamics.
For those who have been through flight school or are currently airline pilots, what do you wish you had done before starting your aviation training?
