Vented to unvented conversion possible?
We are looking to get a larger cylinder in our current vented setup. We moved in about 18 months ago and there is an existing 90L old (uninsulated) copper gravity fed vented cylinder, we have a shower pump and have great showers from it so we’re happy with the setup. Central heating is pumped and works fine. Flow rate to property isn’t great- but we may choose to upgrade incoming supply eventually to resolve this.
So in that context I’m wondering if it’s possible to get a larger cylinder that will work in the existing setup but could then be converted to work in a sealed system/ unvented setup (with addition of expansion vessel etc).
