Camon 40 Pro 4G Storage Calculation

what the fuck is wrong with my phone's storage calculation. How can I have 104 gb as system data? I don't have memfusion turned on, the caches were cleared using phone master. Is this a bug or is hios 16.2 really this unoptimized? please guide on what's going on

Open-source WhatsApp patches like Piko?

Hi everyone,

I've been using Piko because I like that the patches are open source and I can patch the official APK myself instead of trusting a random modded app. That got me wondering: does anything similar exist for WhatsApp?

I'm not looking for closed source mods like GB WhatsApp, FM WhatsApp, YoWhatsApp, etc. My ideal solution would be something that:

  1. Patches the official WhatsApp APK rather than distributing a modified APK.

  2. Has fully open-source patches that can be audited.

Is actively maintained.

Does a project like this exist, or has anyone in the community considered creating one? If not, is there a technical reason why WhatsApp is much harder to patch than Instagram?

I'd love to hear from anyone familiar with Morphe or Android patching in general.

Fedora KDE to Arch KDE

I've been using and learning Linux using a dual boot setup with windows and a flavor of Linux. It's been almost 4 months I finally ditched windows from my dual boot setup and used Kununtu 26 full time. I used it for a while and realized that I want to have the latest softwares and updates, so I made the move to Fedora KDE. I have used it for a couple of months and I am satisfied. But I want more. I have now been examining Arch as next distro.

I am a quick learner. I have always been able to troubleshoot any issue I encountered in any distro using AI or Wikis. Should I switch to Arch and settle or is this just the deep distro hopping rabbit hole that I am falling into?

Kubuntu to Cachy OS

Hi I recently switched from windows 11 to Kubuntu on my HP Elitebook 845 G10 with AMD Ryzen 5 7000 series. After using it for about 2 months I am bored and want to try something fun. I have considered CachyOS but I am worried about getting worse battery life out of the box. I am also scared if I start missing Kubuntu's Stability. Would like to have all your opinions regarding if I should make the switch.
